Furniture Collection & Disposal with Waste Collection Permit
Fully licenced by the NWCPO our disposals partner holds a Waste Collection Permit (NWCPO-17-11904-01), which is printed on our dedicated waste collection van, and can be viewed on the day of collection. Our waste collectors are fully insured and licenced to offer a furniture disposal service in Dublin and The Greater Dublin Area, as well as disposal of many other types of waste.
Waste Disposal Regulations
Under waste disposal legislation, it is illegal for a person to hand over waste* (including furniture) to anyone other than an authorised waste collector who is in possession of a valid waste collection permit. Failure to comply with this law can lead to heavy fines for both the owner of the waste and for a person collecting waste without a permit. Our waste collector does have a valid waste collection permit, which can be produced at the time of collection. *Any item you no longer want and wish to have collected, including furniture, is considered waste, regardless of its condition.
Furniture Disposal Fees and Recycling: How the Fee is Calculated
Price = Collection Fee + Disposal Fee

The price we quote you for waste collections includes a collection fee (what we charge for the service) plus a disposal fee (approximately what it costs to dispose of your waste). We estimate the disposal fee based on the average weight of the type of furniture you are dumping and add to that a collection fee that is usually between €45 to €100 depending on your location, but it also depending on the quantity of items to be collected. There is an optional 2nd man available for an additional charge: this charge is €25 for most collections in most of Dublin, though it is increased for larger collections and for other locations. All furniture is taken to an authorised recycling facility. | The "From" Prices for Collection Fees increase for larger quantity collections. The "from" price is the starting price. The more that needs the be collected, the more this fee will be. It increases by €10 per €100, i.e. if the total fee for collection fee + disposal fee would equal over €100, the collection fee would be €10 extra. If the total would be over €200, the collection fee would be another €10 extra. | |||

| If the items are to be collected from upstairs in a house or from upper floors in an apartment block, office or any other building and there there is no elevator, there would be an extra charge, depending on which floor the items are located on, and how much is to be collected | |||
| If you book a one man service, and you are helping the driver, he only requires help at the collection location. It is primarily necessary to have two people to lift large items safely and carefully out of your home. Also, if you can leave items outside the front of your home in advance, the driver can manage without help. | |||

“What can I say… it’s hard to know what size van or truck to get until you see your life in boxes. I had naively organized a large transit. Keith and Nathan came and within 2 mins it became very apparent we needed a 2nd van. Now I moved on a Saturday so I thought… not a hope in hell of getting a 2nd van but within 5 mins their was a 2nd van organised. The other side of the move was to a 3rd floor apartment with 6 flights of stairs. With no moaning or stopping everything was off loaded within 2 hours and up into the apartment! The guys were super, patient and friendly. NOTHING BROKE!! Not one glass! And the price…. actually super super cheap!! If you are looking for a good service, with efficient staff and a next to nothing cost call E-Van. Really could not recommend them highly enough.”
