And we also offer furniture dismantling and reassembly during house, apartment and office moves. We have Experienced Flatpack Furniture Assembly Technicians for IKEA Furniture Assembly.
Furniture Assembly as a Standalone Service
2-man service: from €150*
—*this covers up to 1 hour 30 minutes of furniture assembly
—additional time, if required, is charged at €15 per 15 minutes

2-man service: from €145 for delivery
—then €15 per 15 minutes for assembly time

*starting rates apply to all of South County Dublin, and to North County Dublin as far north as Swords, Malahide, Kinsealy and Portmarnock. Additonal fees apply for further north County Dublin and Surrounding Counties. Also, if the delivery involves crossing from Southside to Northside, or vice versa, and additional €5 applies. “From” rate for delivery is for one piece of furniture. You must have the full instructions for assembly.
Furniture Assembly in Dublin and Surrounding Counties
Our handyman and his helper are experts in furniture assembly with many years experience assembling furniture. Let the pros take the hassle out of putting furniture together, trying to follow complicated assembly instructions. They are well used to this and well able to build IKEA furniture and any other furniture that needs to be assembled.
Furniture Assembly as a Standalone Service
If you have already bought some flat pack furniture that needs to be assembled, or if you have some furniture that has been dismantled and you need it put back together, we can come to your home and assemble it. Please note that the instructions are always required.
The rates will be:
Two Man Service – from €150* for up to 1 hour 30 minutes of assembly work, then €15 per 15 minutes for additional time, if required

Furniture Assembly as part of a Furniture Delivery Service
If your’re buying some new furniture from a store that does not deliver and wish to have it collected, delivered and assembled, we can also provide this service (we offer home delivery from stores that don’t deliver). You can also avail of our furniture assembly service in conjuction with our IKEA delivery service. Likewise, if you are buying furniture 2nd hand and it needs to assembled, or even dismantled and reassembled, we can do this in conjuction with our same-day furniture collection and delivery service. Or if you’re moving home or office, and have bought new furniture that you would like assembled, we can put these items together during the move.
The rates will be:

Existing Furniture Dismantling and Reassembly during Home and Office Moves
When you’re moving house or apartment there are some types of furniture that need to be disassembled in order to move them, such as double bed frames.
Furniture Dismantling and Reassembly as part of a Moving Service
Disassembly and reassembly can be done as part of the moving service within the max time limit for the 1st load, and or of it goes over the time limit or is being done after additional loads, it can be done for an additional fee:
Small Van Rate:
Two Man Service – €10 per 15 minutes in addition to the fee for the Moving Service
Large, Extra-Large, Luton & Maximover Van Rate:
Two Man Service – €15 per 15 minutes in addition to the fee for the Moving Service
Our great low prices for moving services cover the basic loading up the van, transport and unloading into your new home or a storage facility, where you have everything ready to go, including any items disassembled in advance.
However, if you’d like us to dismantle and reassemble beds or any other furniture such as wardrobes, cots, desks or tables, as part of your home or office moving service we can do this for an additional fee, as detailed above.
If you also require us to pack your household belongings into boxes, we can offer this service at the same per-15-minute rates.
