e-Van Transportation is offering local van drivers in Clare the opportunity to become an associate driver with our company. The ideal candidate will be resident in Co Clare; which perfectly postioned to take on jobs within Clare and Limerick, and from Clare to other anywhere in Ireland and Northern Ireland

This will be ideal for van owners already working as a man with a van, and looking to bring in some addtional business, or van owners doing other van-based work and seeking additional work to supplement their income. Note: the is not full-time work or work with any fixed times. The work is occasional. When I receive a request for a move, I contact drivers for a quote and availability.

Drivers work on a self-employed, independent basis. You receive the full payment directly from the customers and you will pay 10% commission to e-Van Transportation at a later date. You only pay commission on the amount you receive; not on the amount your helper receives. Once you receive an invoice, you must pay the commission within 5 days.

Requirements:

– You must own a suitable van (e.g. Ford Transit Long Wheel Base, Medium High Roof or larger)
– Be able to lift heavy items
– Handle goods with care
– Work independently, once you have accepted a job
– Take responsibility for your own work and any issues, incidents or accidents
– Be reliable and punctual
– Have a full driving licence
– Have suitable van insurance
– Handle goods with care

– Use Whatsapp: you will be added to a Whatsapp group where jobs are posted, where can provide a quote
– Have email and calendar on your phone: once a quote is accepted, the job will be sent to you using calendar app, and you’ll be notified by email
– Have a bank account with online banking
– Be responsible for your own tax affairs

Rates:

You will set the rate for each job. I will send a detailed the description of the job and the locations involved. You will provide me with a quote and your availability. However, your quote needs to be based on the following criteria, since quotes higher than this do not tend to be accepted by customers.

Recommended Rates

Local Moves:

One-Man Service

€80 for one van load with a max time limit of 2 hours. If additional time is required for the 1st load, charge €6.25 per 15 minutes. If additional van loads are required, charge €25 per hour.

Two-Man Service

€120 for one van load with a max time limit of 2 hours. If additional time is required for the 1st load, charge €10 per 15 minutes. If additional van loads are required, charge €40 per hour.

Long-Distance Moves:

One-Man Service

€25 per hour for loading and unloading time, plus €20 per hour for travel time, plus mileage at 20c per km, plus tolls (where applicable).

Two-Man Service

€40 per hour for loading and unloading time, plus €30 per hour for travel time, plus mileage at 20c per km, plus tolls (where applicable).
