About e-Van Associates

e-Van Transportation initially formed a working relationship with one extra mover, Nazar, who could take on additional jobs when Evan was fully booked. This quickly extended to another mover, Adrian followed Martin and Gary and eventually several more drivers. All movers are independent men with a van running their own individual furniture removals businesses. Movers all have different van sizes to suit different sizes of moves. For example, Nazar has an extra-large van, Adrian has a large van, and both three can perform full moving services. Martin and Gary have a smaller van and can offer moving services for smaller loads at a reduced price. Evan provides quotes and books in jobs for all movers.

The benefit of having several vans is that we can take on most jobs that we are asked to do.

Since November 2016, Evan has been offering waste disposal services, which were first offered through one 3rd party licenced waste diposal company, before eventually forming a partnership in 2017 with another waste disposal company who is also an authorised waste collector and permit holder, based in South Dublin and offering services in Dublin and parts of the Greater Dublin Area. Services include bulky waste disposal and green waste disposal.

With our first collector you got an estimated quote, and paid according to the final weight. His van had a precisely calibrated weighing mechanism. The benefit of this service is that you only pay for exactly what you dump, weight-wise. The disadvantage was that I could not provide the customer with a fixed price, which was off-putting for some people who like to know in advance how much something is going to cost them.

Since June 2017, Evan has also been working with a our waste collection partner, Norman and his company Kantara Environmental Waste Services, (https://www.facebook.com/dublinwastecompany/) who are also holders of a waste collection permit. Norman offers fixed prices and via e-Van Transportation, and specialise in sofa disposal, bed and mattress disposal, electrical and electronic recycling and disposal of large quantities of bulky waste. Norman offers a fixed priced quote based on your quote request, where specific information is provided: the benefit being that you know in advance what you’re going to pay. Norman covers Dublin, and parts of Wicklow, Kildare and Meath. Waste disposal services are available Monday to Saturday from 8am to 8pm.

We can usually provide a fixed-price based on the info submitted though our online form. If not we can often provide a fixed price over the phone if some photos are sent of the waste. Or if not, we do free call-outs to view the wast and assess the totasl cost.

Ricky offers a “We Buy Furniture” service. So if you have any furniture that’s too good to be dumped, Ricky may be interested in purchasing it. Find out more here.
Furniture is resold at Jamestown Indoor Market in Inchicore (http://www.jamestownmarket.com) which is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 5pm.

e-Van Transportation continues to grow and is always open to more associates, in particular: additional movers to take on more jobs. Apply here.

We are also looking for associate authorised waste collectors in Cork, Galway, Limerick and Waterford in particular, but also in every other county in Ireland. If you are currently operating a furniture and waste collection service, or starting one up, and you have a waste collection permit, apply here.
